OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and design principles, with an emphasis on cost control. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients’ outdoor spaces are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained, contributing to the overall success of our landscaping projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as an estimator within landscaping, groundworks, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, groundworks processes, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or estimating software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and site information to determine scope.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Assist in compiling proposals, tender submissions, and bid documents.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to optimise costs without compromising quality.
• Maintain and update estimating databases for use in future projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate handover from estimate to delivery.
