We are looking for an experienced and qualified horticulturist to look after high end domestic gardens. The candidate must have a full UK driving licence, confident driving small vans and a PA1 / PA6 spraying licence. They must be experienced at using machinery such as lawn mowers, strimmers and hedge cutters. They should be comfortable working off ‘Henchman’ type pruning ladders.
The key skills are associated with caring for plants that Tendercare have grown and installed. Good pruning skills and pest / disease identification are important. Many of our visits are based around seasonal pruning, rather than more regular maintenance of gardens in general. We also specialise in interior plant installation and aftercare.
The candidate should be confident in their plant knowledge with customers and happy to work on their own. They would typically be scheduled to deal with one to two customers a day. The position will enable commision based upselling of Tendercare plants.
