Description

HDB Group Pty Ltd is looking for a skilled and reliable Landscape Gardener to join our team.
The role involves preparing and planting gardens and building hardscape features like paving and retaining walls.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare landscape plans and working drawings. Choose materials and plants based on the site and the client’s needs. Develop a clear schedule for construction and installation.
  • Set out the site accurately and install both hardscape and softscape elements.
  • Build structural features such as paved areas, gravel paths, retaining walls, fences, trellises, pergolas, ponds, barbecues and fixed garden furniture.
  • Prepare planting areas by conditioning the soil and shaping the ground. Set up seedbeds and growing areas to support plant health.
  • Plant a range of greenery including trees, shrubs, hedges, flowers and bulbs. Install lawns by laying turf or sowing grass seed as needed

What we need from you:

  • AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training,
  • An or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
  • 3 three years of relevant experience in a similar role.
