Landscape, Hardscape Crew Leader Location: Farmington Hills, MI Job Function: Serve as the onsite leader for various landscape installation projects. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Duties and Responsibilities: Managing the crew: Assigning tasks, providing training, and mentoring crew members. Ensuring quality: Overseeing the work to ensure it meets standards and meets customer expectations. Managing resources: Making sure the crew has the tools and materials they need, and keeping track of materials and time Maintaining the job site: Keeping the job site clean and the equipment trailer organized. Operating equipment: Using standard landscaping construction equipment and operate company trucks/trailers safely. Communicating: Keeping management updated on the project and providing feedback on employee performance. Completing documentation: Complete any necessary documentation _____________________________________________________________________________________ Minimum Qualifications: 5 years’ experience in commercial landscape industry 3 years of professional landscape installation experience 1-2 years supervisory experience and leadership skills Have a chauffeur's license or the ability to get one _____________________________________________________________________________________ Optional Qualifications: CDL Industry Certifications _____________________________________________________________________________________ Physical Requirements: The ability to work outdoors in a variety of conditions. Must be able to work for uninterrupted extended periods of time.
