Our Landscape Install Technician play a key role in transforming plans into living environments that inspire and endure. From installing sod and hardscape to maintaining the beauty of a project, your work directly contributes to creating yards and spaces that families enjoy and take pride in. What Success Looks Like Perform landscape installation tasks including sod installation, planting, mulching, edging, trimming, and grading. Lay hardscape materials (pavers, stone, edging) with accuracy and care to ensure professional results. Operate hand tools, power equipment, and small machinery safely and effectively. Load, carry, and position materials and tools as needed for daily project requirements. Follow instructions from foremen and site leaders to complete tasks on time and to specification. Maintain a clean and organized job site, including tools and equipment, throughout the day. Work productively in all weather conditions and adapt to changing project needs. Collaborate respectfully and reliably with teammates to achieve shared goals. Demonstrate craftsmanship by paying attention to detail, finishing strong, and asking questions when in doubt. Perform additional duties as assigned in alignment with The Loving Company’s core values: honesty, teamwork, intensity, compassion, and excellence. Requirements What Sets You Apart Must possess basic technical skills to complete online training modules, digital onboarding paperwork, and electronic timekeeping accurately and independently. High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience that shows readiness for hands-on work. Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor experience is helpful, but not required — we provide training for the right candidate. Able to lift 50+ pounds, bend, kneel, and work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions. Comfortable following written and verbal instructions and able to work efficiently both independently and with a crew. Reliable, punctual, and motivated, with pride in producing quality, visible results. Spanish language skills are a plus and support communication within our diverse crews.
