JOB DESCRIPTION

Cedar Beach Resort is looking to add to our landscape team after the Labour Day weekend. This position is full-time and available for an immediate start. We can keep you working until Christmas but are flexible if you need to leave early for snow plowing and winter employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to work in all weather conditions
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
  • Able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
  • 1 year of verifiable experience preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation as you will be working on your own
  • know how to work quickly and efficiently within a group or as an individual
  • You need to have reliable transportation as we are not on a bus line

Job Duties:

  • line trimming
  • chipping brush with wood chipper
  • raking leaves
  • blowing leaves with backpack blower
  • splitting wood
  • cleaning up sites and getting the resort ready to shut down

Work is available until December, this is a great opportunity to work until winter work begins. Staff in the fall will be given the first opportunity to start back in the spring when we begin in March.
