JOB SUMMARY

I am seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team.
You will be responsible for various tasks related to landscape maintenance, ensuring that outdoor spaces are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors.
This role would be on a self employed basis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping would be beneficial
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
  • A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to landscaping practices.
  • A driving licence and own vehicle will be needed to travel to and from site each day
  • Would be available to work 3-4 days a week - Could be 5 days during busy periods and summer months

Responsibilities
  • Perform general tasks, including mixing up, keeping working areas tidy and assisting team members when they need it.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks such as cutting slabs.
  • Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, or fences
  • Assist in building landscape structures such as patios, pathways, or retaining walls.
  • Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing basic mechanical checks to ensure proper functioning.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
