POSITION OVERVIEW

POWERGROUP Resources, on behalf of our client The Better Way Landscaping Services is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader. The Crew Leader is responsible for overseeing day-to-day property maintenance operations while leading a small team to deliver exceptional service to both residential and commercial clients. This role combines hands-on work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
As our Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader, you’ll guide and inspire a team in executing outstanding property maintenance, ensuring every job meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • 3- 5 years experience in landscaping or property maintenance with leadership responsibilities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a team
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused
  • Experience operating equipment used in lawn care, snow removal, trimming, etc.
  • Experience towing landscape trailers and able to back them up.
  • Holds a valid G Ontario driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Supervise, mentor, and coordinate a team for tasks including:

  • Lawn mowing, garden and rock garden upkeep
  • Hedge & tree trimming
  • Snow removal, interlock maintenance, and full commercial/residential maintenance
  • Plan and assign daily jobs and routes
  • Ensure safety protocols and equipment (e.g. trucks, tools) are utilized correctly
  • Train team members on proper techniques and customer interaction
  • Conduct quality checks and communicate any issues or improvements needed
  • Collaborate with management to optimize processes, efficiency, and operations—embodying “a better way” ethos

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
