BLC Queensland PTY LTD specialises in high-quality maintenance, delivering dedicated client relations on commercial landscape projects, with a key focus on safety and environmentally responsible practices.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager working as part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks.

Skills and experiences.

• We would prefer our Maintenance Leading Hand to have previous experience in a similar role and at least have a few years experience operating a ride-on mower, as well as a whipper snipper, edger and blower etc.
• Highly desire a minimum of a few years of experience on-site, and express a good knowledge in commercial maintenance and horticulture.
• A drivers licence, vehicle, and white card is a must,
• Good understanding of soft landscaping: planting, turfing, mulching and soil preparation.
• Familiar with Work Health & Safety on commercial sites and contributing to no harm policy.
• Experience using zero turn mower (desired but not essential)
• MR Drivers Licence (desired but not essential)

Duties and Responsibilities.

• Lawn: Mow, edge and fertilising programs
• Garden bed: Weed, mulch, hedging shrubs and small trees.
• Remove dead, damaged or unwanted trees and plants.
• Plant tube stock, plants and trees.
• Co-ordinate watering via water truck or hand watering
• Supervise a crew.
