Position: Supervisor / Groundskeeper / Landscaper (Part-Time, 40 hrs/week)

At Splendid Landscape Services Inc., we pride ourselves on providing top-tier landscaping and grounds maintenance to a diverse range of clients. We’re currently hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to supervise our team and contribute hands-on to daily horticultural operations.
This role is part-time at 40 hours/week, with potential to transition to full-time after a 3-month probation period.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3–5 years of horticulture and supervisory experience
• Strong plant knowledge, pruning, lawn maintenance, and team supervision
• Minimum 1 year of landscape maintenance (required)

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Proficient and safe use of landscaping tools and machinery
• Valid BC Driver’s License and ability to operate a truck and trailer
• Excellent English communication (spoken and written)
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and perform physical work safely
• Team-oriented with leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Leading, coaching, and motivating landscaping crew members
• Performing grounds and horticultural maintenance including lawn care, hedge trimming, pruning, and planting
• Safely operating landscaping tools and machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers, ladders)
• Driving a company vehicle (truck and trailer)
• Ensuring service quality and safety standards are met
• Communicating effectively with clients and team members
