Position: Supervisor / Groundskeeper / Landscaper (Part-Time, 40 hrs/week)
Start Date: August 1, 2025
Location: In-Person – Surrey, BC
Wage: $20.00–$26.00/hour (based on experience)
About Us:
At Splendid Landscape Services Inc., we take pride in delivering top-tier landscaping and grounds maintenance to a wide range of clients. We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to supervise our crew and work hands-on in daily horticultural operations.
This is a part-time position (40 hrs/week) with the potential to transition into full-time after a successful 3-month probation period.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3–5 years in horticulture, including team supervision
• Strong knowledge of plant care, pruning, and lawn maintenance
• Minimum 1 year of landscaping maintenance (required)

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Proficient in the safe use of landscaping tools and equipment
• Valid BC Driver’s License; able to drive a truck with trailer
• Strong communication skills (spoken and written English)
• Physically fit: able to lift 25–50 lbs and work safely outdoors
• Team-oriented, with leadership and problem-solving skills

• Leading, coaching, and motivating the landscaping crew
• Performing grounds and horticultural maintenance (e.g., lawn care, pruning, planting, hedge trimming)
• Safely operating landscaping tools and machinery (mowers, trimmers, blowers, ladders, etc.)
• Driving a company vehicle (truck with trailer)
• Ensuring all services meet quality and safety standards
• Communicating effectively with clients and team members
