Job Details Job Location: Lake Lawn Resort - Delavan, WI 53115 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: None Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Hospitality - Hotel The Landscape Manager is responsible for the hands-on maintenance, and overall appearance of all resort and residential grounds within the Delavan Lake Lawn Management portfolio. This position is an 80% physical, outdoor role that requires strong leadership, landscaping experience, and a willingness to work in varied weather and terrain conditions. The Landscape Manager ensures all areas meet the resort’s high standards for aesthetics, safety, and functionality while supporting property projects and coordinating with operations teams, contractors, and residents. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Landscape & Grounds Operations: Perform and oversee daily landscaping, groundskeeping, and maintenance tasks. Work hands-on alongside the team performing physical labor including mowing, trimming, planting, irrigation, tree, and shrub maintenance, weed and pest control, and seasonal cleanups. Operate grounds equipment safely and ensure proper maintenance. Supervise and train grounds staff to ensure quality work and efficient operations. Maintain landscaping across varied resort and residential areas, including off-site housing and community properties. Assist with snow and ice removal during the winter months (snow removal experience preferred). Ensure all grounds meet safety, accessibility, and aesthetic standards in all four seasons. Project & Development Support: Support new home development and property improvement projects, including site preparation, landscape installation, and coordination with contractors. Monitor project timelines and ensure work is completed to quality and resort standards. Team & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with resort departments, contractors, and vendors for specialized services or large projects. Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and at high quality standards. Assist with scheduling, recordkeeping, and reporting for grounds operations. Resident & Property Relations: Serve as a professional and courteous point of contact for homeowners and residents regarding landscaping or grounds concerns. Communicate proactively about scheduled maintenance, weather-related work, or special projects affecting residential areas. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work practices follow safety standards and regulatory guidelines. Conduct regular inspections and address potential hazards or maintenance issues immediately. Work Environment: 80% physical outdoor work; requires manual labor and operation of equipment. Work performed in varied four-season weather conditions and terrain. Requires weekend, holiday, and varied shift availability, including potential overtime or reduced hours based on seasonal needs. Must be willing to work in multiple areas across the resort property as assigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to perform and lead physical labor in all weather conditions. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Basic computer proficiency for scheduling and recordkeeping.
