As our business continues to expand, we’re now looking to recruit an experienced and organised Operations Manager / Office Manager to oversee and support the efficient running of our garden maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This is a key leadership position, focused solely on the day-to-day operations of our garden maintenance division. You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance teams, managing schedules and client visits, handling logistics, and ensuring high standards are met across all sites.
The role involves regular site visits to monitor progress, support staff, and maintain client relationships. You’ll also receive hands-on training on site to understand our methods, client expectations, and how our teams operate in the field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and support daily operations across multiple garden maintenance teams
  • Manage team schedules, job routing, and client site visits
  • Carry out regular site visits to ensure quality of work and support staff on-site
  • Maintain strong communication with team leaders, clients, and company directors
  • Assist with planning and allocating resources, materials, and staff
  • Handle procurement, stock checks, and delivery coordination
  • Maintain service records and client reports
  • Support health & safety compliance and team wellbeing
  • Monitor team performance and assist with ongoing training and standards
  • Take a hands-on approach where needed to ensure smooth service delivery
