Description Do you want to be part of an amazing team? Plaisted Companies in Elk River, MN is looking for a Store Associate. Position Details: •Has active involvement in customer contact to ensure continual opportunities for new, additional business which is profitable. •Providing customer service to phone customers as well as customers within the store, greeting customers on arrival. •Enters product orders for customer pick up or delivery. Provides quotes for future projects •Assist in the implementation of store sales programs reporting the activities and results to the Store Manager. •Reconciles the cash drawer when assigned as well as preparing the bank deposit as assigned. •Assists in performing modified cycle counting reporting any low inventory results. •Cleans the outside areas of the store to ensure they are clean and always present a pleasant appearance to include sidewalk, parking and display areas. •Prepares and/or reviews shipping paperwork on sales to ensure accuracy and completeness, maintaining the documentation as required to achieve billing. •Coordinates with Store Manager, warehouse and purchasing to assist in forecasting future sales and maintaining adequate inventory on hand to supply customer needs. Job Type: Full-time Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm Mon - Fri (every other Saturday with OT available after 40 hours) Pay: $20 - $22/hr (depending on qualifications) Requirements A High School Diploma or equivalent.
