DESCRIPTION:
Entry level of the Landscape Technician series, under direct supervision performs standard landscape duties.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of some related landscape courses an asset.
Experience: Three years of related experience.
Other: Possession of valid Provincial Class “G” driver’s license, physical ability to perform required duties, demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written), ability to work under all weather conditions and may be required to work long and varied hours.
Shift details: May 1 – October 31: Tuesday-Friday 10:30am-7:00pm, Saturday 8:00am – 4:30pm
November 1– April 30: Tuesday-Friday 12:00am-8:30pm, Saturday 8:00am – 4:30pm
NOTE: Must be available to be On Call during the winter months for snow removal operations in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
