Green Works Contracting is seeking hardworking and detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Crew Members to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of residential and commercial properties. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintaining outdoor spaces, utilizing both hand and power tools. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail. Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid G-class driver’s license (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

SKILLS:

  • Proficient in landscape maintenance techniques with a strong understanding of gardening practices.
  • Ability to build structures using basic construction skills.
  • Experience with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like lawnmowers line trimmer and hedge trimmers.
  • Capability to dig, plant, irrigate, and maintain gardens effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine lawn care services, including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
  • Conduct garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, planting, dividing, and pruning.
  • Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (trimmers, blowers, ride on mowers, etc.).
  • Install landscape materials (soil, mulch, river stone, etc.).
  • Ensure properties are clean, tidy, and aesthetically maintained.
  • Apply fertilizers and other lawn care products safely and efficiently.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
