REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

-High school education.
-Post-secondary education preferred, ideally Horticulture Diploma, LHAP, or equivalent.
-Previous horticultural experience.
-LANTA-CLT Certification would be ideal, but is not required.

SUMMARY

As a Landscaper, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and functional. Reporting to the Landscape Manager, you will utilize your core skills in landscape maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Your premium skills in horticulture and irrigation will be essential for plant care and water management. Additionally, your customer service abilities and plant identification knowledge will help you effectively communicate with clients and meet their landscaping needs. Pay: $17.50-$22.50 per hour

Responsibilities

Full time hire required to aid in landscape installations by performing the following duties:
-Soft scaping- Tree, turf, shrub and perennial installation. Mulch and rock installation.
-Perform customer service, e.g., interact with clients, meet with general public, etc.
-Operate and maintain horticultural equipment such as Bobcat, Kubota tractor, etc.
-Help in establishment and maintenance of tree nursery.
-Arborist work in early spring and late fall
-Snow removal in winter
