Competencies: (6) Ethics/Integrity: 25% Interpersonal Skills: 15% Sense of Urgency: 15% Communication: 15% Project Management: 15% Results Driven: 15% Duties and Responsibilities: Pick-up and delivery of supplies needed for repairs. Prepare all requisitions for purchase of materials with prior authorization. Perform work in a logical, orderly, and skillful manner. Maintain all daily work reports as required. Operate equipment and tools/maintain inventory of same. Provide inspections of safety related items monthly. Repair, build or alter existing facilities as required. Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting as required. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Maintain safety standards and repairs on all equipment. Maintain knowledge of all contract schedules and assignments. Maintain an organized inventory for all supplies and equipment. Maintain daily written records and reports. Work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Communicate clearly in oral and written form on a constant basis. Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. During slow periods/off-season, paint locations. Requirements Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent or 1+ years’ experience in the field. Ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification Must have reliable, consistent means of transportation to report to work Must maintain a satisfactory driving record, if in possession of a driver’s license. Depending upon the assignment must be able to work in a variety of settings, weather conditions, and locations. Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office and the internet. Physical Requirements: Distribute and utilize equipment and work materials which frequently include lifting, pushing, climbing, kneeling, and bending. Move weights up to 30 lbs. on a constant basis and up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis. Work independently; utilize good judgment and possess a strong sense of initiative. Snow plowing and shoveling, painting. Use a calculator, provide written reports, and communicate with all staff and contractors.
