JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction practices. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. The Landscape Technician will work with both hand tools and power tools, ensuring that all landscaping projects are completed to high standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and practices is essential.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and their installation/maintenance is a plus
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and planting.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for gardening and landscaping activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to assess health and maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team members to execute landscape design plans effectively.
• Provide mechanical knowledge for the upkeep of equipment used in landscaping tasks.
• Assist in construction projects related to landscaping, such as building retaining walls or pathways.
