At the heart of our community is WindRiver Club, a private members-only club soon to feature Clubhouse Village — home to our restaurant, bar, spa, fitness center, event spaces, and pro shop. The Landscape Foreman plays a crucial role in leading a team of landscaping laborers. This is a hands-on team lead who works alongside the crew to perform and oversee daily landscape maintenance and installation, ensuring quality work, safety, and efficient job completion under the direction of the Superintendent. Duties & Key Responsibilities Common Grounds Maintenance Assist the Landscape Superintendent in carrying out routine maintenance of common areas. Perform and lead daily tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and fertilization. Ensure work is completed to high aesthetic and quality standards. Monitor completed work and address any issues in the field. New Resident Installs Assist with the layout and installation of landscapes for new residents. Work alongside crew members to complete plantings, hardscapes, and irrigation installs. Help ensure materials and plants are properly handled and installed correctly. Follow landscape plans and make field adjustments as needed. Crew Leadership (Working Foreman Role) Lead by example by working alongside the crew daily. Provide direction and support to team members on job sites. Assist with daily task assignments and ensure work is completed efficiently. Promote and follow all safety guidelines on-site. Communicate progress, issues, and needs to the Superintendent. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs, seasonal demands, or project requirements. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent (preferred). Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in landscape maintenance and installation (required). Previous foreman experience in landscaping (preferred). Valid Driver’s License (required). Must be 18 years of age or older (required). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Extensive knowledge of plants, horticulture, and landscaping techniques. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to plan and execute landscape designs based on resident preferences. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents and team members. Budget management skills with a focus on cost-effective solutions. Ability to work mornings and occasional weekends. Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, twist, kneel, lift, push, and pull items weighing 55lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move throughout the workday. Must be willing to work outdoors and be comfortable in varying weather.
