REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in quantity surveying or cost management roles within the construction industry, demonstrating proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools such as planswift, autocad, and etc.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and financial information accurately.
  • Knowledge of construction Landscaping materials (Hard landscaping, Irrigation etc).
  • Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantage. (Invoice, Payment)
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, contractors, and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation, budget tracking, and documentation.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically, anticipate challenges, and propose practical solutions.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and deadlines, while maintaining a commitment to quality and integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on thorough analysis of architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets throughout the construction lifecycle, tracking expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing cost-saving measures as needed.
  • Procurement: Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive bids for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project specifications.
  • Contract Administration: Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while protecting the interests of the project and stakeholders.
  • Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality or functionality, proposing alternative materials or construction methods when appropriate.
  • Change Management: Assess and document changes to project scope, specifications, or requirements, evaluating their impact on project costs and timelines and facilitating the approval process.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project costs or timelines, developing strategies to mitigate risks and minimize financial exposure.
