Join the Horticulture team at Desert Mountain Club, one of the largest and most beautiful private country clubs in North America, as a Landscaping Supervisor!
In this role, you will play a key role in creating a world-class facility! You will perform specialized labor in landscape maintenance and related work including but not limited to plant care, irrigation, landscape lighting, and arbor care. Responsible in overseeing the maintenance operation and supervision of Desert Mountain Club’s landscape areas including lighting and irrigation. This role also supervises the maintenance and repair of equipment and the completion of department projects.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic. Prior grounds and landscape maintenance experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Conducts regular maintenance and repair work on equipment and systems.
  • Supervises all planting, fertilization, and maintenance of landscapes including trees.
  • Assists in the daily assignment of equipment to teammates and inspect for proper use, cleaning, and storage to assigned parking.
  • Assist the Director in keeping records of maintenance activities, including but not limited to job tracking and chemical and fertilizer applications as required by the law.
  • Maintain all aspects of the landscaping for clubhouses, and related facilities through planting, pruning, fertilizing, and watering.
  • Assists with the day-to-day routine maintenance of grounds, facilities, and systems as directed.
  • Maintains landscape and hardscapes, manages irrigation systems, and prepares grounds and walkways for daily tours and events.
  • Ensures teammates are utilized with maximum efficiency for the repairs, maintenance, and care for all the club’s landscaping needs.
  • Works within all types of weather conditions predominately in outdoor settings.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Housekeeping & Horticulture.
