As a member of the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort team, you will meet and engage with guests who have arrived to enjoy all the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer and help them experience our world-class amenities such as the state-of-the-art Wild Bear Falls water park. Job Description As a Landscaping Supervisor you will oversee the entire grounds of the resort to include mowing, installation and trimming of trees and bushes, fertilization and irrigation for Westgate Smoky Mountain Resorts. As Landscaping Supervisor, you will: Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems Maintain time and production records Responsible for helping to maintain a clean and well-groomed landscape in all areas Help with weeding, edging, fertilizing, mulching, and planting flowers Must possess basic knowledge of plants and be capable of filling out daily work reports Repair irrigation system as needed SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise the mowing crew(s) To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic. Qualifications Horticultural degree preferred Must possess two to four years related experience and/or training Valid state driver's license Prior supervisor experience required Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor weather conditions Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States Additional Information Why Westgate?
