EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• Valid BCCSA Traffic Control Person (TCP) Ticket
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence in Good Standing Preferred, Class 7 Considered
• One year previous experience as a Traffic Control Person (TCP)
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test as a pre-employment requirement

ROLE:

Allteck is seeking a Lane Closure Technician (LCT) to join us in Lower Mainland, BC!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the safe and courteous movement of vehicles and personnel
• Setting-up traffic control zones
• Controlling traffic in construction zones
• Adjusting work zone equipment
• Responding to emergency situations and hazards
• Knowledge and understanding of Traffic Management Plans and the Traffic Control Manual for Work on Roadways as developed by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure
• Knowledge of the requirements of the British Columbia Motor Vehicle Act and Regulations related to traffic control
• Working and coordinating with other Traffic Control Persons (TCP’s) onsite
