We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education and Languages: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be chiefly required to provide English learning services and activities to the full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students at HKMU. One of the focuses of the services and activities to be provided will be on enhancing students’ readiness to use English for academic purposes and for intercultural communication. In particular, the appointee will be responsible for the following: organizing and conducting English language activities such as one-to-one consultations, academic and culture workshops and English short courses; providing face-to-face and/or online English language teaching and support to students; designing and developing English teaching materials and assessment exercises; keeping record of and providing feedback on students’ learning progress;and performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School of Education and Languages / Director of the Language Centre. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies: native or near-native English proficiency; a recognized bachelor’s degree; ability to work creatively and independently; good communication skills; and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
