The coordinator will provide technical assistance throughout the training process and evaluate outcomes to ensure alignment with national standards.
Additionally, the contractor will conduct a department-wide audit of language services to assess interpreter utilization, signage, and document translation efforts. This includes gathering and analyzing data related to language use across all program areas, identifying service gaps, and proposing improvements to strengthen meaningful access for Limited English Proficient (LEP) and Deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals. The audit will result in a report with actionable recommendations and a roadmap for sustainable improvements in communication equity. The coordinator will work closely with other contractors and programs, including Web Accessibility and Health Literacy, to ensure cohesive, inclusive communication strategies agency wide.
