Responsibilities

Learning how to work safely with chemicals used for weed control;
Learning how to construct and maintain haul roads;
How to ‘strip and rake’ the ground, in preparation for mining or rehabilitation activities;
Learning how to prepare the soil for seeding and undertake environmental work;
Learning how to operate vehicles and machinery on site; and
Learning how to construct and maintain civil roads when required.
