Description

The Rhino Products group are looking for a Laser and Press Brake Programmer to join our growing business based at our Deeside site.

Responsibilities

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be a graduate or an individual who has a background in or is eager to train in programming a range of new Bystronic equipment within our modern factory.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • Raise works orders when parts reach a reorder level, programme our Bystronic Laser, press brakes and bending robot using BySoft Cam software
  • Work closely with the production manager and our in house design and development team to ensure our parts are programmed efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Record material usage and time for cutting/bending operations of development parts accurately and submit weekly reports to production manager
  • Submit quotation analysis forms to production manager for sign off and to assist in make or buy decision making.
  • Ensure the laser and Bytrans system are running correctly
  • Ensure all health and safety rules coupled with quality standards are recognised and followed
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a similar role or as a setter/operator would be advantageous but not necessary as full training will be given
  • Experience with Bystronic machinery and software is also advantageous but full training will be given
  • You should be able to understand and work from engineering drawings and tooling changes
  • Lean manufacturing is desirable
