Job Description Title: Laser Operator Reports to: Production Supervisor Job Purpose: Ultimately responsible for set up and operation of laser machines, production saw, and tumble blast machine. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and other quality documents Adjust machine settings per part specifications and troubleshoot machine setting issues Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with fixtures, gauges, and measuring tools to ensure conformance with specifications Maintain tolerances determined by part specifications Ability to perform preventative maintenance and maintain the area’s 5S standards Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards Qualifications Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred Willingness to rotate through multiple manufacturing operations Ability to perform standard shop computations (math) Ability to read schematics (blue prints) and engineering drawings Ability to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures Ability to follow administrative/procedural policies as well as work within a team environment Additional Information Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC offers a drug-free work place along with a competitive salary and benefits package.
