ABOUT US:

FMC Ltd was started in the UK in 1991, with the specific goal of providing a product and service to a standard that had previously been unavailable, to the earthmoving and mining aftermarkets. Key personnel were drawn together from various backgrounds that collectively had many years’ experience in this field.
Today all genuine FMC parts are supplied and manufactured in our own facilities based in Nottinghamshire or from our tooling at key manufacturers around the world and shipped from our Warehouse based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to process materials according to precise specifications. You will work closely with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.

• Set up and operate laser cutting machines
• Load and unload materials on the laser table
• Read and interpret technical drawings and job orders
• Perform quality checks on completed parts to ensure compliance with specifications
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and report any faults
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
