Description Perform typical laser cutting operations on second shift, working 3:30 pm to 12:00 am Select proper cutting programs, and proper fixtures. Document material usage and record deviations. Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point. Make proper set-ups for cutting operations. Perform prescribed maintenance as required. Perform all dimensional inspections. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. May work at different workstations as production needs require. Requirements · Minimum 3 years experience · Ability to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds · Ability to work under pressure · Willing to work in team-oriented setting · Ability to manage time to meet production schedule · Ability to work overtime as needed
Responsibilities
The Laser Operator will perform laser cutting operations, select cutting programs, and document material usage. They will also conduct inspections and report any defective materials to the supervisor.
