Description Overnight shift - (Monday - Thursday - 10 hr shifts) Major Areas of Accountability: Provides Laser cutting service to the fabrication stations by cutting material to length and shape from sheet stock utilizing nested layout drawings. Inspects, handles, and stores sheet stock in sheet stock locations, utilizing overhead cranes and forklift. Transfers finished cut raw material to designated work area within the fabrication shop. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment in designated work area. Issues material to each job that is cut utilizing the appropriate inventory check-out process. General machinery maintenance checks on the Laser including cleaning, adding, and monitoring the hydraulic oil, and changing and disposing of small components. Ensures a safe work environment by following safety requirements and policies. Performs other responsibilities and special projects as assigned Requirements - Ability to drive a forklift - Experience programming (Amada preferred) and operating CNC laser - Experience rigging
