REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Forklift License (training can be provided if required).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Comfortable lifting and handling heavy metal components.
• Basic computer literacy for job tracking or stock updates.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health & safety
• Punctual, dependable, and works well in a small team.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Experience working with laser or waterjet cut parts.
• Knowledge of sheet metal materials and stock types.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings & job sheets.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Laser Processing Assistant, you’ll support our laser cutting operations by unloading parts, managing material stock, tidying the shop floor, and preparing completed jobs for despatch. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone physically fit, safety-conscious, and comfortable operating a forklift in a workshop environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unload and sort parts from our Laser.
• Label and stack jobs for dispatch or further processing.
• Operate forklift to move material and finished parts.
• Load/unload deliveries and incoming stock.
• Keep workshop areas clean, tidy and hazard-free.
• Monitor sheet stock levels and assist with restocking.
• Assist machine operators with general duties as required.
