Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Laser Programmer to join our team at IFABCorp. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming laser cutting machines to ensure efficient and precise production of metal parts. This role is critical to supporting our manufacturing process, optimizing material usage, and meeting customer specifications. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize CNC programs for laser cutting machines using CAD/CAM software Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to create accurate programs Select appropriate materials, cutting paths, and machine settings to maximize productivity Conduct test runs and adjust programs to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturing goals are met Monitor and maintain equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor maintenance Ensure compliance with safety standards and production procedures Key Competencies Strong attention to detail Analytical thinking and problem-solving Technical aptitude in machine programming Communication and teamwork Time management and organizational skills Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC programming preferred 2+ years of experience in laser programming or CNC programming in a metal fabrication environment Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SigmaNEST, SolidWorks) Familiarity with Amada, Mazak, or similar laser cutting equipment Understanding of sheet metal materials and fabrication processes Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities A collaborative, growth-focused work environment
