About the Role: As a Laser Tag Adventure Guide at The City Forum, you will be the primary facilitator of an engaging and safe laser tag experience for guests of all ages. Your role is to create an exciting, immersive environment that encourages teamwork, strategy, and fun, ensuring every participant leaves with a memorable adventure. You will be responsible for briefing players on game rules, operating laser tag equipment, and managing game flow to maintain a high-energy atmosphere. Additionally, you will monitor safety protocols and provide exceptional customer service to address any questions or concerns. Your contribution is vital to maintaining The City Forum's reputation as a premier destination for entertainment and recreation. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Strong communication skills to effectively instruct and engage participants. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment. * Basic knowledge of safety procedures and first aid. * Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in customer service or entertainment roles. * Previous experience with laser tag or similar recreational activities. * Certification in first aid and CPR. * Ability to lead groups and manage team dynamics. * Familiarity with electronic game equipment and troubleshooting. Responsibilities: * Conduct pre-game briefings to explain rules, safety guidelines, and game objectives to participants. * Operate and maintain laser tag equipment, ensuring all devices are functioning properly before and during games. * Manage game sessions by organizing teams, tracking scores, and facilitating smooth transitions between rounds. * Monitor player behavior and enforce safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure a positive experience. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting additional activities or services. Skills: The required communication skills are essential for clearly explaining game rules and safety instructions to diverse groups, ensuring all participants understand and enjoy the experience. Physical stamina and attentiveness are used daily to manage the dynamic environment of the laser tag arena and to respond quickly to any safety concerns. Customer service skills help in creating a welcoming atmosphere and resolving any guest issues promptly and professionally. Preferred skills such as first aid certification and experience with electronic equipment enhance your ability to maintain a safe environment and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. Day shift Evening shift Night shift Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and Holiday availability (Except Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) is required for all shifts
