Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are recruiting a skilled and empathetic Lasting Power of Attorney to help develop and deliver our new Later Life Planning service. You will work closely with clients, ensuring their wishes are reflected in their legal documents and providing expert advice to help them make informed decisions. Your attention to detail and passion for helping others will be crucial in delivering high-quality services that meet both the legal requirements and the personal needs of our clients. The role will require the completion of the relevant training courses and examinations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advise clients on Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) and Wills, ensuring their wishes are accurately captured and legally compliant.
  • Draft and review LPA and Will documents, ensuring all legal formalities are met.
  • Provide compassionate support, helping clients understand the legal processes and options available to them.
  • Always maintain a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Regularly meet with clients in the City of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland to provide face-to-face support.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure the efficient management of all cases.
  • Assist in the growth and development of the new service, offering feedback and ideas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal regulations and best practices related to LPAs and Wills.
