Job Description We are looking for our future LATAM Desk Manager to be a key member of the Sales team at Swissquote Switzerland. Reporting directly to the Head of Retail Sales, you will lead and develop a team of sales professionals dedicated to the Latin American market, with the objective of driving revenue growth and building long-term relationships with retail clients. Operations Management: Defining and executing the commercial strategy for the LATAM retail segment in alignment with the bank’s overall objectives. Monitoring and analyzing sales performance (KPIs, conversion rates, client activity) to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement. Collaborating with Marketing, Product, Trading, and Customer Care teams to ensure a seamless client journey and alignment of commercial initiatives. Developing strong relationships with high-value retail clients and key partners across LATAM to better understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the client acquisition pipeline across the region. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations for the targeted markets. Team Management: Leading and supporting your team : Fostering a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization. Promoting collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members. Addressing any potential conflicts among team members to your senior management and/or HR Partner. Supporting employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities. Hiring: Leading the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner. Ensuring new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles. Performance Management: Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues. Conducting under performance process with the help of your Senior Management and HR Partner. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in sales within financial services, ideally with exposure to retail clients and LATAM markets. Proven leadership experience managing and developing sales teams. Strong understanding of trading products (FX, CFDs, equities, crypto) and retail client dynamics. Good knowledge of LATAM market specifics (client behavior, culture, regulatory awareness). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Languages: Spanish and English (fluent mandatory); Portuguese is a strong plus. Additional Information SQ2 Managerial role: Yes
