We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook (Night Shift) to join our culinary team. This position is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen during the evening hours, contributing to the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes that meet our high standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes.
  • Culinary certification is an asset but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and guest preferences.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including all equipment and workstations.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients to ensure availability of items.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during the night shift.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment, contributing to team collaboration and productivity.
  • Handle all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any issues to the head chef.
