Description

Starship Technologies is revolutionizing deliveries with autonomous robots. These robots are designed to deliver food, groceries, and packages across college campuses and neighborhoods in minutes. Starship has now completed millions of autonomous deliveries to date, traveled millions of miles, and is currently doing more than 140k road crossings each day. Our contribution to society includes reducing congestion, and pollution, providing zero-emissions deliveries, increasing the quality of life for residents, empowering seniors and disabled people, and enabling affordable delivery for local businesses.
We’re hitting records on an almost weekly basis. Now is an exciting time to join as we grow rapidly around the world!
We’re looking for a Launch Assistant to join our Launch team!
In this role, you’ll split your time between preparing equipment at our Helsinki hub and traveling across Finland to deliver robots and train store staff. If you enjoy a mix of technical tasks, travel, and working with people, this could be the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities

THE POSITION IS A FULL-TIME ROLE, CONSISTING OF 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK, FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY, WITH AN INITIAL CONTRACT OF 8 MONTHS.

Please note that you will be hired through a staffing agency with which we have a partnership. As an employee working through the staffing agency, you will be fully integrated into our company culture and collaborate closely with our team members.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:

  • 50% of your time will be spent at the Helsinki hub, preparing our equipment and handling various hub tasks (e.g., building cabinets, and configuring phones).
  • 50% of your time will be spent delivering robots to stores across Finland and training store staff on how to operate Starship robots. Travel may occasionally require overnight stays in another city if it is not near Helsinki.
