Description
SAIC has an opening for a Launch Program Financial Analyst Intern who is willing to gain knowledge of government and SAIC financial processes to assist the Program Assistant Program Manager. This position is in El Segundo, Ca. The selected candidate develops briefings, financial reports including graphics and assessments to a variety of audiences and must be able to convey financial information in a clear and articulate manner to Government and Program leadership. They will support strategic planning and gain knowledge of end-to-end launch support activities. Specific duties include: - Provide program management, budgetary and financial services and products - Develop and maintain a staffing database CLIN for engineering/mission projects - Provide support as required for planning and financial oversight of customer requirements - Provide analysis and rationale of expenditures data as necessary - Assist with development of Contract Financial Status Reports (CFSR) and financial data - Perform “quick reaction” scenarios studies with Assistant Program Manager - Travel: 10%25 of the time Qualifications - External Specific experience to include: - Seeking bachelor’s degree in business or finance, Preferred third year student - Has or ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly - Understanding of handling sensitive information with discretion - Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, WORD, Power BI) - Client experience Additional Qualifications: - Working knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle requirements - Experience with Collaboration tools (Confluence, JIRA, MS TEAMS) - Strong communication and coordination skills necessary - Desktop software experience to include spreadsheet, briefing, and database development and reporting
