Description
We are hiring for a Night Shift Laundry-Aide @ West Park Care Center!   Position Description: The Laundry Staff is responsible for maintaining cleaning of patient/resident laundry in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility to assure that the community is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner.   * Collect, sort, rinse and wash soiled linens and laundry for facility and patient/residents. * Fold and distribute linens for facility and patient/residents. * Mark patient/resident personal clothing items as necessary * Adheres to laundry procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors and staff in all areas of the facility. * Assures that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained and operable to perform necessary duties and services to include, but not limited to filling washers and dryers continuously, emptying lint traps and following laundry cleaning procedures. * Maintain clean laundry room following set procedures to ensure clean and safe environment for patient/residents and staff. * Listens and responds to resident concerns, complaints, suggestions, questions and comments. * Analyzes and reports results of resident satisfaction survey to residents. * Develops, communicates, and follows through with necessary action plans. * Assures that the residents’ personal and private property rights are followed by housekeeping and laundry staff at all times. * Interacts with patient/residents to ensure that quality care and positive resident/staff relations are taking place. * Maintains open and trust-building relationships with patient/resident family members, responding professionally and promptly to any requests or concerns. * Inspects work areas and equipment at least weekly for proper order and operation. * Adheres to company-wide policies around and has oversight of Life Safety compliance in facility in conjunction with OSHA, state and company requirements. * Fosters a positive work environment that attracts, retains and motivates top quality people throughout the organization. #WPCC
Responsibilities
Responsible for collecting, washing, folding, and distributing linens and personal clothing for residents. Ensures the laundry room and equipment are maintained according to safety and health regulations.
