As a Laundry Aide, you’ll provide warm, friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers while ensuring that all linens are handled safely and efficiently. Experience is preferred but not required — we’re happy to train individuals who bring a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.     Responsibilities: * Separate wet linens into appropriate tubs for drying * Dry laundry loads and prepare items for folding * Fold towels, washcloths, diapers, bibs, gowns, pillowcases, and draw sheets on laundry tables * Work with another aide to fold sheets and blankets * Stock linen carts with clean linens * Deliver linen carts to assigned floors and respond promptly to linen requests * Assist with unloading personal washers and dryers; hang personal clothing when time allows * After 1:00 p.m., collect linens from floors, sort them, load washers, apply proper cleaning solutions, and operate machines * Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning lint traps every other load or as needed * Sanitize tables and sweep floors at the end of each day; sanitize shelves and carts weekly * Complete daily linen count sheets documenting items delivered to each floor * Attend required in‑services and mandatory education sessions   Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent * Excellent customer service skills * Hospitality industry or other applicable cleaning experience preferred but not required.   Physical Demands: * Use one or both arms or hands, and/or one or both feet or legs, to operate controls on machinery or equipment * Push and pull loads requiring 20–50 pounds of force occasionally, and 10–25 pounds of force frequently * Lift and carry 20–50 pounds occasionally, and 10–25 pounds frequently * Stand at a workstation for extended periods and walk throughout the work shift * Bend, stoop, reach, and grasp objects as part of routine daily tasks Background Check and Drug Screen Requirements: Employment is contingent upon successfully passing both a state and federal background check, as well as a drug and alcohol screening. Testing includes screening for both illegal and legal substances, including cannabis (THC).
