As a Laundry Aide, you will provide warm, friendly service to residents, visitors, and coworkers while ensuring linens are handled safely, efficiently, and with care. Experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.   RESPONSIBILITIES * Sort wet linens into appropriate tubs for drying * Dry laundry loads and prepare items for folding * Fold towels, washcloths, diapers, bibs, gowns, pillowcases, and draw sheets * Work with another aide to fold sheets and blankets * Stock and deliver linen carts to assigned floors; respond to linen requests promptly * Assist with unloading personal laundry and hanging clothing when time allows * After 1:00 p.m., collect linens from floors, sort, load washers, apply cleaning solutions, and operate machines * Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning lint traps * Sanitize tables daily; sweep floors; sanitize shelves and carts weekly * Complete daily linen count sheets * Attend required in‑services and mandatory education sessions   REQUIREMENTS * High school diploma or equivalent * Excellent customer service skills * Hospitality or cleaning experience preferred but not required   PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Operate machinery using hands, arms, feet, or legs * Push/pull loads requiring 20–50 lbs of force occasionally and 10–25 lbs frequently * Lift and carry 20–50 lbs occasionally and 10–25 lbs frequently * Stand for extended periods and walk throughout the shift * Bend, stoop, reach, and grasp as part of daily tasks   BACKGROUND CHECK & DRUG SCREEN Employment is contingent upon passing state and federal background checks and a drug and alcohol screening. Testing includes screening for both legal and illegal substances, including cannabis (THC).
