Job Description Laundry Aide Part-time; 8am-4:30pm Saturday and Sunday Starting pay: $15.25-15.75/hr. depending on experience. About the Role: As a Laundry Aid at Centre Avenue, you will: Operate a washer and dryer for the processing of soiled linen items. Remove clothes from dryer promptly. Hang personal clothing on hangers. Fold laundry. Deliver laundry to appropriate rooms and closets. Wash site mops and rags. Maintain a clean laundry area. Follow all safety and infection prevention and control policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For: Experience and Education: At least 17 years of age. At least one month of applicable experience or training is preferred. Skills: Ability to effectively able to read and interpret documents. Ability to communicate effectively. Basic mathematical skills. Ability to reason and problem solve. Basic technical skills. Attributes: Sanitation and safety awareness. Responsibilities
As a Laundry Aide, you will operate washers and dryers, fold laundry, and maintain a clean laundry area. You will also follow safety and infection prevention policies while delivering laundry to appropriate rooms.
