Description Norton Creek, an affiliate of Ayres Lodging Collective, is seeking a motivated and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for processing laundry, assisting customers, maintaining a clean and safe facility, troubleshooting equipment, and upholding our high-quality service standards. You’ll also play an important part in supporting overall team operations and following all safety procedures. This position is based at our coin laundry facility, Super Suds and will have a mostly evening schedule. Responsibilities: Wash, Dry, Fold (WDF) Services Laundry Processing: Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and soil level. Inspect items for stains, damage, and special care requirements. Machine Operation: Safely load and unload washers and dryers, select appropriate detergents, and follow all operating and safety procedures. Folding & Packaging: Neatly fold, organize, label, and package finished laundry for customer pickup or delivery. Order Management: Track and document each order, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion. Coin Laundry Attendant/Customer Facing Customer Support: Greet customers, assist with machine operation, detergent selection, and general inquiries. Provide change or assist with laundry card reloading. Facility Maintenance: Keep all machines and surfaces clean and sanitized; empty lint traps and ensure a tidy, welcoming environment. Issue Resolution: Respond professionally to customer concerns, ensure safety, and report any maintenance or security issues. General Duties Safety & Compliance: Follow all health and safety protocols, using PPE as required. Team Collaboration: Support coworkers and assist in training new team members as needed. Record-Keeping: Log orders, maintenance updates, and supply levels accurately. Use the Breezeway App for reporting and daily task tracking. Support Tasks: Assist with deliveries and additional duties assigned by the supervisor. Facilities Cleaning & Upkeep Remove floor debris and wipe down tables, chairs, and laundry equipment. Empty lint traps, trash cans, and mop water responsibly. Clean detergent drawers and run vinegar cycles to remove buildup when necessary. Sweep, mop, and dry all floors, ensuring wet floor signage is in place. Clean interior and exterior storefront windows. Complete and log all opening and closing procedures daily. Requirements High School diploma (preferred). Must be a minimum of 18 years old. 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant in a hospitality setting (preferred). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Availability required for accommodating weekend, holiday, and evening responsibilities. Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple duties and properties simultaneously. Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure and with minimum supervision. Ability to improvise and make decisions based on business or guest needs. Professional demeanor and appearance. Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, twist, kneel, lift, push, and pull items weighing 55lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move throughout the workday. Must be willing to work outdoors and be comfortable in varying weather.
