Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work within an NHS Laundry based in Swansea. We are looking to recruit a Laundry Assistant to work in the laundry site based in Llansamlet, Swansea.
The role will suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is keen to work in a busy production environment that processes linen for Hospitals and Health care premises across West Wales.
The post holder will be required to carry out tasks within all sections of the laundry as and when required from receiving, sorting, processing soiled and infectious linen, through to dispatching clean linen to our customers.
The post holder will be required to perform in set areas of work, but within an overall flexible framework. The main areas of work include sorting, the wash house, calendars, dry fold, packing and dispatch.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
