Job Description We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and reliable Laundry Attendant to join the team at Pullman Cairns International! In this vital behind-the-scenes role, you’ll help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and presentation our guests expect. You’ll work closely with multiple departments to ensure a smooth and efficient laundry operation that supports both our guest and team needs. Key responsibilities include: Sort, wash, dry, and iron incoming linen to maintain consistent quality and cleanliness Operate industrial laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, and the ironer Assist in the preparation and distribution of linen trolleys for housekeeping each day Log and manage linen for food & beverage outlets and team uniforms Maintain a clean and organised laundry area, while ensuring room attendant chemical supplies are stocked Be a valued part of a supportive and dedicated team that helps create exceptional stays for our guests in tropical Far North Queensland! Qualifications 6+ months of previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is an advantage (but not required) This is a physically demanding role and requires you to be physically fit and able to perform the role requirements. Good verbal communication skills for liaising with various departments. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed Additional Information Why work for Accor?
