Position Overview
We require a part-time, permanent laundry attendant and driver that will be assisting with linen and towel deliveries to all Basecamp properties in Canmore and Banff. The laundry attendant driver will also be assisting with tasks in the laundry.
Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Shifts: Part-Time, Permanent, 9am - 5pm twice a week

Requirements

• Must have a Canadian driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract.
• Must have 3 years of driving experience in Canada.
• Must have the mobility to climb stairs throughout the day and be able to lift 40lb.
• Experience in laundry duties and asset

• Driving to Canmore & Banff properties to supply the houseperson with linens from the main laundry. May also need to assist with bringing linens to storage rooms at the properties.
• Work closely with Housekeeping Supervisors, Housekeeping Manager and Laundry Manager to ensure inventory for each property is properly stocked.
• Ensure that time is directed at stained and reclaim inventories. Helping extend the life of the products.
• Remove and record damaged product each week and report to the Laundry Supervisor or Laundry manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry.
• Maintain clean floors in the laundry room.
• Wash and clean all linen’s bags and transport containers.
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle.
• Wash, sort, and fold.
• Wash and dry linens and towels in an efficient and organized manner to best support the needs of multiple properties.
• Package linens in transport bins in such a way as to expedite the stocking of items upon delivery.
• Ensure proper operation of equipment.
• Ensure laundry chemicals are stocked up and are dispensing correctly throughout each shift.
