What will you be doing? * Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers following all safety practices * Inspect linen on a regular basis for tears, holes or sub-standard conditions * Notify the supervisor of malfunctioning equipment, supplies needed, and damaged linens to ensure that the operation runs at maximum efficiency * Assist in a daily refill of clean linens, amenities, and supplies in stock rooms * All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management * Most of the time is spent walking and being on your feet. This is a physically laborious role. What are the requirements for this role? * Minium of 1 years work experience in cleaning and/or housekeeping preferred * Must be efficient and thorough * Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills are required * Strong oral communication skills are required * Must be energetic, possess good time management skills and be eager to grow and develop as part of a team The Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is committed to an inclusive, accessible recruitment process. Responsibilities

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting soiled linens, inspecting them for damage, and refilling clean supplies in stock rooms. They must also report equipment malfunctions to supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
