Position Summary The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing linens, uniforms, and other laundry items to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met. This role operates laundry equipment, maintains a clean and safe work area, and supports overall operational efficiency through attention to detail and effective time management. Duties & Responsibilities * Sort and wash laundry * Pressing laundry * Drying and folding laundry * Keeping track of inventory * Maintaining laundry room equipment * Reporting any issues to maintenance regarding laundry room equipment * Keeping area clean, tidy and organized Skills, AbilitIes, attributes * Be able to be on your feet for a full shift, up to 8 hours or more. * Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Be flexible with shift times. * Be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs and push up to 50lbs * Be able to twist, bend, and reach while working at a fast pace.. * Attention to detail to ensure high-quality results * Physical stamina to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods of time, and perform repetitive tasks.
